Duties/essential functions may include, but not be limited to, the following: Performs electrical work for the layout, installation, and maintenance of electrical power systems, both inside and outside, including underground, overhead and building wiring, substations, transformers, protective devices, breakers, switches, panels, fuses, controls, lighting systems and related wiring devices. |

Minimum Qualifications: |
High school diploma or equivalent. A minimum of five years of verifiable skilled industrial or commercial electrical experience. May be called to work in emergency situations. Requires on and off-campus travel. License/Certification: Successful completion of formal electrician apprenticeship training program resulting in an electrical journeyman's certification; Valid Ohio driver's license with safe driving record. Knowledge Of: Electrical theory and principles Skill In: Reading blueprints (schematics, one line diagrams and wiring diagrams) Ability To: Demonstrate work processes, train others and provide performance feedback |

Working Conditions / Physical Requirements: |
