The Sales Engineer provides pre- and post-sale support and conducts product demonstrations for the TruLaser Center 7030. They collaborate with sales teams and distributors to win orders and perform market analysis to identify new opportunities.
Requires at least three years of experience in technical sales or machine applications, preferably with a background in CNC machine tools and sheet metal. An associate's or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or industrial economics is strongly preferred.

The TruLaser Center 7030 is TRUMPF´s most advanced laser cutting system and provides a one stop solution for autonomous cutting, sorting and stacking of sheet metal parts. The Sales Engineer is essential to the product success and assists the Product Manager in pre- and post-sale support, as well as product demonstrations to customers. Welcome to the next generation of automated laser cutting!
Minimum of three year experience in technical sales, machine applications or related customer-facing role required. Good knowledge in TRUMPF laser machine portfolio, automation and storage systems preferred. Applicant should have a background in manufacturing with CNC machine tools, and ideally sheet metal experience. Excellent communication skills in both written and verbal are required as this position involves extensive contact with customers and sales representatives. Experience in Project Management preferred
Associate’s / Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in technical field such as mechanical engineering or industrial economics strongly preferred. High proficiency in MS Office with focus on PowerPoint and Excel required. Language skills in German or French are a plus.
Salary Range: $79,200 - $118,700
