The Guest Service Agent manages guest check-ins and check-outs while ensuring accurate billing and payment processing. They also handle inquiries, process mail and laundry, and coordinate with bellstaff to ensure a high quality of guest service.
The candidate must be able to maintain an accurate cash bank and perform end-of-shift audits. They are required to follow directions from management and stay updated on hotel-wide announcements.
Check guests in and out of rooms; ensure that all guest information is accurate and up to date
Handle all guest payment for charges incurred; correct guest bills as needed
Prepare audit accurately at end of shift
Maintain an accurate bank for giving change, cashing checks, etc
Answering both guest and team member inquiries
Accepting mail, packages, laundry, etc from guests and properly processing those items
Answering any phone calls that come to the desk
Dispatch bellstaff for guest assistance
Follow any directions given by Front Office Manager or Assistant Front Office Manager
Keep updated on all Front Office news as well as hotel-wide announcements, functions, etc by checking the Front Office information board daily
