Manage a high-volume customer portfolio to ensure timely payment of invoices and reduce aged receivables. Evaluate customer creditworthiness and resolve payment disputes through collaboration with internal departments.
Requires 3-5+ years of experience in Accounts Receivable and Collections, preferably within the transportation or logistics industry. Proficiency in ERP/TMS systems and advanced Microsoft Excel skills are essential.
Position Summary
The Senior Credit & Collections Specialist plays a critical role in protecting company cash flow by managing customer credit, reducing aged receivables, and driving effective collection efforts. This individual will partner closely with the Director of Accounts Receivable to evaluate customer creditworthiness, monitor portfolio risk, resolve payment disputes, and ensure timely collections across a large transportation and logistics customer base.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem-solving, building customer relationships, and taking ownership of a high-volume receivables portfolio in a fast-paced logistics environment.
