The Staff Accountant manages daily financial transactions, including accounts payable, receivable, and bank reconciliations to ensure financial integrity. They support the Director of Finance with month-end and year-end closing activities and serve as the primary accounting liaison for resort operational leaders.
Candidates must have an associate degree or higher in Accounting or Finance and 1-2 years of relevant experience. Proficiency in accounting software and a strong understanding of hotel/resort financial reporting are required.
ABOUT OUR ROLE | The Staff Accountant position plays a critical role in maintaining financial integrity and operational efficiency at the resort. This role is responsible for accurately processing financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable, balance sheet transactions, cash, and supporting month-end and year-end closing activities. The position helps to ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal controls while providing timely financial information on a daily, weekly, monthly basis as needed. The Staff Accountant directly supports the Director of Finance in optimizing performance to budget, forecasts, and financial reporting processes.
