You will be responsible for the safe and efficient set up, maintenance, and removal of traffic control measures in various work zones. Additionally, you will provide direction to traffic control personnel and ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations.
Candidates must have at least 6 months of BC Lane Closure Technician experience and a current WorkSafeBC-recognized Traffic Control Person certification. A valid driver's license with a clean record and the ability to use a smartphone are also required.

As a Lane Closure Technician (LCT), you play an essential role in supporting the safety of your fellow roadworkers, crews and members of public on the road. You will be responsible for the safe and efficient set up, maintenance, and removal of traffic control measures in various work zones across the lower mainland. You will work with contractors involved in heavy underground, light utility, electrical, paving, road building, and special events. You role will be instrumental in ensuring safety and regulatory compliance while minimizing traffic disruptions, upholding standards, and providing a secure work environment for our teams and community.
