Engage youth experiencing homelessness through street outreach and drop-in services to build trust and connect them with essential resources. Provide comprehensive case management, including assessments and goal planning, to guide youth toward stable housing and health services.
Requires a bachelor's degree in human services or 2-3 years of relevant experience, preferably working with vulnerable populations. A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are mandatory for client transport and community outreach.

The Street Outreach & Drop-In Case Managers engage youth experiencing homelessness through street outreach and drop-in services, building trust and connecting them with resources to support health, safety, and long-term stability. This role may serve in:
This role focuses on meeting youth where they are and guiding them toward safe, stable housing and supportive services.
The duties of this position are performed personally, in cooperation with your supervisor, and/or in coordination with other staff.

Requirements
Employees in this position may be subject to long hours on their feet in an office, outdoor, and other environments that may frequently include physical conditions such as inclement weather or temperature extremes, sharps, drugs and paraphernalia, and interpersonal contact from non-employees that include sexual innuendo and raw, abusive or threatening language. Employees must be comfortable providing safer sex supplies and bleach kits to youth. The PLACE provides personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety training to prepare and protect The PLACE employees in these uncontrolled environments. Compliance with safety protocol is required, which may include the use of PPE, involvement of law enforcement, and/or enactment of emergency protocols, detailed in The PLACE’s Emergency Operations Plan.

We offer three vital programs — outreach, shelter and housing — that meet youth’s basic needs and give young people the assistance they need to become self-sufficient adults. The PLACE disrupts cycles of trauma and chronic homelessness, providing youth the chance to heal and reach their full potential. Our upcoming affordable housing project, The LAUNCHPAD, brings youth in the Pikes Peak region more options for supportive and long-term housing while providing case management and education services.
