• Canning & Bottling Production Shift 2

Job Purpose

• To operate and maintain canning and bottling equipment during the second shift, ensuring efficient and high-quality production of canned and bottled products while adhering to safety and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor canning and bottling machinery, including fillers, cappers, labelers, and conveyors, ensuring smooth and efficient operation.
• Conduct quality checks on finished products, inspecting for defects, proper labeling, and fill levels, ensuring adherence to quality control standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve minor equipment malfunctions, performing basic maintenance tasks such as cleaning, lubrication, and adjustments, minimizing downtime and maximizing production efficiency.
• Maintain accurate production records, documenting output, downtime, and any issues encountered, facilitating production tracking and analysis.
• Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), maintaining a clean and organized work area, and following lockout/tagout procedures, ensuring a safe working environment.
• Communicate effectively with other team members and supervisors, relaying information about production progress, equipment issues, and quality concerns, fostering teamwork and efficient communication.
• Sanitize and clean equipment and work areas according to established sanitation schedules and procedures, maintaining a hygienic production environment.
• Meet production targets and deadlines, ensuring timely completion of assigned tasks, contributing to overall production goals.
• Participate in training programs and continuous improvement initiatives, enhancing skills and knowledge related to canning and bottling operations, promoting professional development and operational excellence.
• Assist with other production tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability to changing production demands, supporting overall team performance.Qualifications- Must be able to work 2:30pm-11pm M-F.

Required Education

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent

Required Experience

• 1+ years of experience in a manufacturing or production environment
• Experience operating canning and bottling equipment
• Experience working in a fast-paced environment
• Experience adhering to safety regulations and procedures

• Ability to operate canning and bottling machinery
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
