The instructor will provide hands-on training and mentorship to adult students in industrial sewing machine operation and maintenance. Responsibilities include managing the classroom environment, tracking student progress, and guiding volunteers to ensure consistent instruction.
Candidates must have experience operating industrial, domestic, and overlock sewing machines along with knowledge of construction techniques. Prior experience in teaching or coaching adults is preferred, alongside strong communication and problem-solving skills.

The Sewing Labs is seeking an enthusiastic and experienced Industrial Sewing Instructor to teach and mentor adult students in an evening industrial sewing program.
The ideal candidate has hands-on experience operating industrial sewing machines, strong communication skills, patience, and a passion for helping students gain practical, job-ready sewing skills. This role includes classroom instruction, demonstrations, student support, basic equipment oversight, and coordination with volunteers and program staff.
