This position is responsible for serving food and beverages to guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. Adheres to all health regulations and local liquor laws. According to function specifications, sets up, maintains, and takes down banquet rooms after service/event has concluded. Ensures exceptional guest service and creates an inviting atmosphere. Follows company and brand standards of quality to ensure guest satisfaction.

Provide exemplary customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and maintaining a positive dining/meeting/event experience.
Read and execute detailed banquet event orders.
Set up banquet rooms, including arranging tables, chairs, linens, silverware, and glassware according to the event specifications.
Monitor the cleanliness and presentation of tables, ensuring all items are refilled or replaced as necessary.
Assist in the preparation and breakdown of banquet spaces before and after events.
Ensure compliance with health and safety standards, including proper handling and storage of food and beverages.
Collaborate with the kitchen and event staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages
Assists bartenders and works as a team player to ensure all guest needs are met.
Attend pre-shift meetings for event specific communication.
Ensure that all food and beverages meet the established quality standards before being served to guests.
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining and event area.
Any other duties directed by the Banquet Manager and/or General Manager.

Communication: Clear and effective communication with both the service team and customers, ensuring orders and instructions are accurately conveyed.

Time Management: Efficiently managing tasks during high-volume times, ensuring timely service while maintaining quality.
Attention to Detail: Ensuring that food orders, table settings, and service standards meet or exceed expectations.
Technology: Proficiency in using restaurant management software for reservations, and point of sale (POS) systems.

Work Environment
This position will work in a variety of indoor and outdoor settings, depending on the location of the events. The environment can be fast-paced and will require a high level of attention to detail and the ability to adapt to changing needs and priorities during events. A dress code is required.
Physical Demands
Standing on your feet for most or all of your shift is often required. The lifting of supplies and equipment that may exceed 50 lbs could also be required. Bending down, kneeling, crouching, squatting, and pushing are other physical demands that may be required of you. Accepting this job indicates you understand these physical demands and are able to complete the essential functions of the job that required these physical demands.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is an hourly, part time position. Schedules vary depending on the demand of business. Weekends, Evenings, and Holidays may be required.
