Responsible for protecting property assets, employees, and guests through regular patrols and risk identification. Manages emergency responses, maintains legal logs, and assists in investigations of thefts or accidents.
Candidates must possess strong communication skills, the ability to handle physical demands up to 50 lbs, and fluency in English. Must be able to obtain required licenses and pass a background check.
Job DetailsJob Location: Pridwin Hotel - Shelter Island, NY 11964Salary Range: $24.00 - $24.00 HourlyAreas of responsibilities include protection of property assets, employees, guests and property, accident and fire prevention and response. Ensures that all areas of the property are safe and secure. Maintains logs, certifications and documents required by law and Standard Operating Procedures. In the case of any incident, guest or staff, is responsible that all details are captured, and logs kept.

The Pridwin Hotel and Cottages is a classic all-wood American resort hotel that has been providing guests a unique experience on Shelter Island since 1927. The nearly 10-acre site on Crescent Beach was selected for its protected waters, gentle bay breezes, and for its breathtaking water views. A seasonal hotel, the Pridwin opens in May and is in full swing from the last weekend of June through Labor Day with a range of resort amenities including a private pool, small private beach, two docks, the excellent Moussa Drame Tennis Club and the Pridwin bar, lounge and restaurant overlooking the bay.
