The Service Administrator III is responsible for supporting, controlling, and monitoring administrative taks and maintenance planning activities for mobile equipment . This role acts as a back-office support function, ensuring proper organization of maintenance plans, data control, and reporting. The position requires a technical or engineering background, experience in mining environments, and knowledge of maintenance planning and performance tracking. The role focuses on supporting execution, ensuring availability of resources, and maintaining accurate maintenance information, without direct management responsibility.
Responsibilities:
Organize and keep documentation.
Prepare maintenance planning programs for mobile equipment.
Control and update operational data and reports.
Prepare/Order cost estimates and quotations.
Coordinate information between field teams and management.
Ensure accuracy of records and project documentation.
Support administrative processes for mining projects.
Assist in reporting and performance tracking of the assigned project.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong organizational and document management skills
Ability to control and analyze data with accuracy
Good knowledge of Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, Outlook)
Basic understanding of maintenance planning for mobile equipment
Experience in cost estimation and quotation processes
Attention to detail and accuracy in reports and documentation
Good communication and coordination skills
Ability to support multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Ability to work in a structured and process-driven environment
Required Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or Technical Diploma
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience)
Experience in maintenance of mobile cranes, lifting equipment, and heavy machinery
Experience in maintenance contract management and technical support
Experience in spare parts and inventory control
Previous experience in mining environments is preferred
Knowledge of maintenance planning, scheduling, and performance monitoring
Work Environment:
Mainly office-based
Frequent use of computers, data systems, and standard office tools
Frequent interaction with internal teams, including maintenance, operations, and management
Frequent visits to mines or field sites to support operations and collect information
Exposure to mining site conditions during visits, including noise, dust, and different weather conditions
Fast-paced environment with many priorities and deadlines
Work may involve coordination across different locations and time zones
Focus on accuracy, organization, and timely delivery of information and reports
