The Opportunity

This is a new and pivotal role.

As we scale, the class experience is where our greatest opportunity lives. We already have exceptional Concept Leads owning individual formats. This role exists to ensure those experiences ladder up to one coherent philosophy that members recognise instantly as The Commons. That's your job.

You're the curator of The Commons class experience. You partner closely with our Concept Leads, shaping the creative vision that brings every format together while empowering each discipline to retain its own identity and expertise. Whether a member walks into Reformer, Strength, Yoga or Breathwork, they should feel the same intentionality, the same care and the same soul.

You're part creative director, part quality guardian and part talent developer.

You won't write every class card. Our Concept Leads own the weekly programming for their formats. Your work is to make the whole greater than the sum of its parts, to define the philosophy and principles that underpin every class at The Commons, build the playbooks and standards that protect the experience as we scale, and hold the bar relentlessly high.

When members say The Commons class changed their week, that's your work.

What You'll Do

Create the Vision

• Define and steward the creative vision for The Commons class experience.
• Build and establish the principles that underpin every format.
• Curate seasonal and weekly programming rhythms across the timetable.

Build Something Unmistakably Commons

• Create playbooks and consistency levers that protect quality as we scale.
• Develop signature rituals and experiences that become synonymous with our brand.
• Establish standards across music, language, pacing and atmosphere.

Lead Great People

• Lead and coach our Concept Leads across all modalities.
• Build instructor training and certification pathways.
• Scout, audition and develop exceptional talent.

Raise the Standard

• Own the feedback loop on class quality and member experience.
• Use observation, instructor development and member insights to continually improve the experience.
• Set and maintain a world-class standard across all clubs.

Who We're Looking For

• This role requires a rare combination of creative instinct, leadership capability and operational discipline.
• You might currently work in boutique fitness, performance, dance, theatre, hospitality, immersive experiences or wellness.
• You understand how to build experiences that have rhythm, emotion and impact.

You'll Bring

• Experience programming, directing or leading group movement, performance or experience-based environments.
• A natural eye for curation and exceptional taste.
• The ability to develop other leaders and creatives.
• Experience creating systems and standards that scale quality without losing soul.
• A clear point of view on what makes an experience feel truly premium.

Highly Regarded

• Background in dance, theatre, choreography, music or creative direction.
• Experience in a premium boutique or multi-site wellness brand.
• Experience building training frameworks or instructor education programs.
