The Distribution Designer will support the design and modeling of overhead distribution systems using pole loading analysis software. Responsibilities include configuring pole structures, performing clearance analysis, and preparing construction estimates while collaborating with engineering teams.
Candidates must have an associate degree in a related field and at least 2 years of experience in utility distribution design. Proficiency in pole loading software and knowledge of electrical power systems and industry standards are required.
We are seeking a skilled Distribution Designer to support the design and modeling of overhead distribution systems using pole loading analysis software. This role involves configuring pole structures, analyzing loading conditions, and ensuring compliance with safety codes and client-specific standards. The ideal candidate will have experience with pole load analysis tool(s) and a solid understanding of electrical distribution systems.
