The Fiber/Coax Splicer is responsible for terminating, splicing, bonding, and testing fiber optic cables to ensure network efficiency. They must also maintain vehicle inventory, perform equipment assembly, and accurately document daily production on job site blueprints.
Candidates must have a valid driver's license and the ability to perform physically demanding tasks, including lifting 50 pounds and working outdoors in all weather conditions. Proficiency in operating technical equipment like OTDR and fusion splicers is required, along with the ability to work both independently and in a team.
