JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for stocking housekeeping supplies for the various housekeeping functions in the hotel and cleaning the guest hallways and other hotel areas as assigned
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & FUNCTIONS
Delivers all items requested by guests
Immediately respond to any potentially dangerous conditions such as wet floors
Removes trash from trash cans in the hallways, guest rooms and other areas and deposits in the dumpster
Shampoos carpet and provides floor care when needed
Maintain housekeeping storage rooms with linen and supplies
Assist Room Attendant with preparing guestrooms (ensure they have appropriate supplies available, strip vacant guestrooms, remove trash)
Transport linen to and from laundry to storage
Responsible for the cleanliness of guest hallways, elevators, carpet edges, and stairwells
Responsible to ensure dye program for rags is being follow by housekeepers and notify Supervisor of any deviation to the program.
BASICS
Maintain cleanliness and organization in all work areas
Display courteous behavior with guests and team members
Report any unsafe conditions immediately
Ensure hotel equipment is in proper working condition
Perform any additional duties assigned by the supervisor
Must be comfortable using devices to communicate with team members and to complete checklists daily (i.e. Alice system.)
Physical Requirements
Standing/Walking: Constantly. For varying lengths of time, often long periods.
Crouching (Bend at knees): Frequently. Bending to vacuum and perform cleaning duties
Stooping (Bend at waist): Frequently. Stooping to vacuum and perform cleaning duties.
Reaching (Overhead/extension): Frequently. To perform cleaning duties.
Fingering/Feeling: Frequently. Move fingers, hands and arms quickly and easily to handle linen, glasses and amenities.
Pushing/Pulling: Frequently. Pushing 200-pound carts.
Lifting/Caring: Frequently. Lifting 50 lbs maximum.
Working Environment
Interior and exterior of hotel with exposure to weather conditions
Exposure to hazardous chemicals.

Hotel Operations or Customer Service preferred
Communicate effectively with others

Skilled in working with multiple computer programs
