The Material Handler is responsible for supplying production lines with raw materials, managing equipment setup, and performing routine maintenance on loaders, dryers, and grinders. They also ensure the material-handling area remains organized and assist with mold changeovers and scrap management.
Candidates must have a high school diploma, a valid driver's license, and a forklift license. Strong attention to detail, basic math skills, and the ability to lift up to 55 pounds are required for this role.
About the role
The Material Handler plays a critical role in keeping production supplied with the materials, equipment, and support needed to operate efficiently. This position prepares and delivers raw materials to manufacturing areas, blends colorants and regrind, manages runners and scrap, and cleans and sets up drying, loading, grinding, and blending equipment. Responsibilities include responding to equipment alarms, staging materials and packaging, supporting mold changeovers, performing routine equipment maintenance, and maintaining an organized material-handling area. If you thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, have strong attention to detail, and take pride in keeping materials flowing accurately and efficiently, this role is a great fit.
Schedule
The schedule for this position is Monday-Friday from 3:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.
