Full job description
Keep your body and your brain engaged in a role that combines hands-on warehouse work with coordinating the daily workflow for one dedicated furniture client. As the day-to-day lead for this client, you'll be the main contact for them and their customers and lead a team of 3 to deliver. You'll schedule deliveries, capture delivery information, and communicate with customers where needed, all while staying hands-on in the warehouse. Monthly bonuses reward a job well done.
Each day you’ll oversee the workflow by allocating work, scheduling deliveries, updating records, and ensuring everyone knows the plan. Then head into the warehouse to unload containers, put stock away, prepare orders for dispatch, and work alongside the team to keep goods moving safely, accurately, and on time.
To thrive you'll bring:
Broad warehouse experience and an understanding of how warehouse operations impact both the client and their end customer.
Experience operating Reach and Man-Up (Narrow Aisle) forklifts. Current licences are preferred, although we'll arrange licence updates if needed.
The fitness and strength to safely handle large, boxed furniture throughout the day.
Solid computer skills, including Excel, with the confidence to learn logistics and warehouse management systems.
A professional, customer-focused approach when communicating with customers on behalf of a premium furniture brand.
Experience leading others
A positive, collaborative attitude. You lead by example, enjoy pitching in alongside the team, and are always willing to help.
Strong attention to detail, a commitment to safe work practices, and the initiative to spot issues before they become problems.
