The Field Services Engineer will perform fault diagnosis, repair, and renewal works on metering, hydraulic, and electrical control systems. They are also responsible for planned preventative maintenance and the commissioning of new installations at client sites.
Candidates must hold an engineering qualification to at least NVQ level in a related field and possess a strong technical background in building services. Experience with district or community heating systems and a commitment to high levels of customer satisfaction are highly desirable.
Introduction

Our client portfolio contains local authorities, universities, factories, housing associations, private landlords and utility energy suppliers. The company is now entering into an exciting new business sector and has already won over a dozen major contracts with large public sector property developers who now have to consider renewable energy in order to obtain planning permission for new build projects.
Despite a contracting economy, the Company has been through massive recent growth with record breaking sales and now seeks to strengthen its Service team with a Service engineer.
The Field Services Engineer will be responsible for response and preventative planned maintenance works across a varied and wide range of metering, hydraulic and electrical controls systems installed primarily within residential properties. In addition, there will be a requirement to provide out of hours on call support to these activities within a structured on call rota basis.

Ideally qualified to NVQ level standard in a related discipline, standard development training will be part of the role.
Summary
The candidate should ideally have min 3 years’ experience of dealing with technical building services systems and related products. They should have a good technical understanding and previous experience in a similar services industry. Customer facing, they will have experience within this area and have a clear understanding of the need to provide high levels of customer satisfaction.
