Operate various warehouse machinery to safely receive, store, and dispatch goods. Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counting and ensure a clean, safe workspace following health and safety standards.
Candidates should have a valid driver's licence and the physical ability to perform manual handling tasks. While previous warehouse experience and forklift certifications are preferred, full training can be provided for the right candidate.
Warehouse Operative / Forklift Operator
We are currently looking for a Warehouse Operative / Forklift Operator to join our growing warehouse team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working in a hands-on, fast-paced environment and wants to develop their career in logistics and warehouse operations.
You will play a key role in ensuring goods are received, stored, and dispatched safely and efficiently while maintaining high standards of safety and organisation across the warehouse.
Operate warehouse equipment including Forklifts, Reach Trucks, Ride-on Pallet Trucks and Floor Washers.
Safely load and unload goods while maintaining efficiency and accuracy.
Locate, pick, and prepare stock for dispatch.
Carry out cycle counting and stock checks to maintain inventory accuracy.
Perform manual handling tasks, including handballing and repalletising loads when required.
Maintain a clean and organised workspace through housekeeping and “clean as you go” practices.
Conduct weekly forklift inspections and assist with the general upkeep of warehouse equipment.
Follow all Health & Safety procedures and compliance standards.
This role involves regular manual handling and physical warehouse activity as part of day-to-day operations.
A strong awareness of Health & Safety practices in a warehouse environment.
A valid driver’s licence.
A positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Ability to carry out physically active warehouse duties including lifting and moving goods.
Good attention to detail and reliability in completing daily tasks.
Manual Handling Certificate preferred but not essential.
Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Ride-on Pallet Truck, or VNA licence preferable but not essential.
Previous warehouse experience is an advantage, but full training can be provided for the right candidate.
