GENERAL STATEMENT OF JOB

SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES

This is a mid-level Superintendent role designated for individuals with experience running jobs independently but not yet responsible for mentoring other Superintendents or managing multiple projects concurrently

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS

Project Leadership & Execution

Oversee all field operations from mobilization through close-out, ensuring progress aligns with schedule, budget, and quality goals.
Conduct daily site walks to verify production, safety compliance, and quality control.
Manage site logistics, labor, equipment, and subcontractors for optimal workflow.
Coordinate with the Project Manager to forecast needs, monitor costs, and track milestones.

Safety & Quality Assurance

Enforce Stancil’s safety program and OSHA standards, conducting daily and weekly safety meetings.
Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free site that reflects company professionalism.
Proactively identify and resolve potential safety or quality issues, escalating concerns with recommended solutions to the Director of Operations and Project Manager.
Ensure all work meets or exceeds Stancil’s craftsmanship standards and project specifications.

Communication & Close-Out

Serve as the primary on-site point of contact for builders, clients, and field representatives.
Lead weekly coordination meetings to address trade sequencing, scheduling conflicts, and scope alignment.
Document daily reports, safety toolbox talks, and site photos.
Oversee project close-out activities including inspections, punch lists, and trade partner sign-offs.
Foster strong collaboration among office staff, field teams, and subcontractors.

Other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE AND TRAINING

3+ years of construction site supervision (large project experience preferred)
Strong knowledge of paint and drywall trades
Multi-Family experience highly preferred
Bachelor’s in Construction Management OR equivalent field experience

Proficient in Procore and Bluebeam

OSHA certification and safety-first mindset
Willingness to travel throughout the Carolinas a strong plus
Valid driver’s license and insurable with company insurance policy

MENTAL AND PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

Strong interpersonal and organizational skills with attention to detail.
Ability to prioritize multiple requests and meet time-sensitive deadlines.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as room setups or walkthroughs.
Willingness to visit job sites, walk buildings, and interact with field and office teams.
