We are seeking an experienced and motivated Human Resources/Office Administrator to join our team.
The Human Resources/Office Administrator provides administrative and human resources support to ensure efficient office operations and a positive employee experience. This role manages front office activities, payroll support, customer service, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, and HR administration while partnering with management and Corporate HR to support business operations and company policies.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Office Administration
Provide front desk reception and customer service by answering phones, emails, and directing inquiries.
Process payroll, prepare payroll reports, and assist with bank deposits.
Coordinate customer order status with the production team and manage shared email inboxes.
Perform general administrative duties, including filing, scanning, data entry, mail distribution, invoice assembly, and maintaining office records.
Monitor office supplies, coordinate meetings and special events, update company communication displays, and support the General Manager with administrative tasks.
Maintain organized work areas in accordance with 5S standards and perform other duties as assigned.
Human Resources
Administer day-to-day HR functions and ensure compliance with company policies and employment practices.
Serve as a resource for employees and managers regarding HR-related questions and concerns.
Manage the recruitment process, including posting positions, interviewing candidates, conducting background checks, and onboarding new employees.
Coordinate performance reviews, employee engagement, and recognition programs.
Partner with Corporate HR to support benefits administration, employee status changes, and policy implementation.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
Strong organizational, time management, analytical, and problem-solving skills with exceptional attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and maintain confidentiality while exercising sound judgment and professionalism.
Working knowledge of federal and state employment laws, HR best practices, and employee relations.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems; experience with BambooHR preferred.
Experience with recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, payroll support, performance management, workplace investigations, conflict resolution, and policy administration.
Ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish preferred.
Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree from a four-year college: or minimum three years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
