The Production Engineer provides technical support for gas turbine component repairs and manages special processes like heat treatment and brazing. They are responsible for designing process tooling, creating technical documentation, and implementing continuous improvement initiatives using Six Sigma and Kaizen.
A Bachelor of Science in Engineering or a science-based discipline is required, along with 2+ years of experience in aerospace lean manufacturing. Proficiency in 3D modeling software like Siemens NX is required, while CNC programming and PLC knowledge are preferred.

Position Summary:
The Production Engineer is an essential position that directly impacts product integrity, performance, revenue, delivery and turn time. The Production Engineer will support the repair of various gas turbine components and will have responsibility for a special process such as Heat Treatment, Brazing, Blending, Grit Blasting, Plasma Spray or another to be determined by the applicants’ qualifications.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
