Responsibilities
Manage delivery burndown, shortage reports, and risk registers to ensure on-time delivery of aerospace components. Lead quality tracking, inventory cycle counts, and tier 2 supplier health reporting to improve overall supply chain performance.
Requirements
The candidate must be able to maintain high currency in reporting and achieve specific reduction targets for backlog and lead times. Physical presence at the supplier site in Tijuana is required for approximately 20 days per month.
Delivery Burndown - Live tracker of all open Acron POs against committed and actual ship dates, with backlog aging and expedite status. Daily refresh
Line of Balance (LOB) and Shortage Report - Daily management of the supplier's LOB and shortage report, including component-level kit completion status. Daily
Risk Register - Active list of supply, quality, capacity, and tier 2 risks with scoring, owner, mitigation plan, and target close date. Weekly
Action Item List - Open actions across the supplier, Seller, and Acron with owner and due date, hosted on the shared site. Continuous
E&O Inventory Log - Documented on-hand inventory for excess and obsolete material, including cycle count results, variances, and disposition recommendations. Weekly + Monthly full count
Quality / 8D Tracker Log - of all open quality issues, escape defects, and corrective actions with containment status. Weekly
Tier 2 Source Health Report - Lead time, OTD, and risk view across critical tier 2 suppliers, plus active second-source identification pipeline. Bi-weekly
Weekly Status Report - Executive summary covering burndown, KPI performance, top risks, asks of Acron, and decisions required. Weekly (Friday)
Monthly Business Review - Trended KPI dashboard, exit-readiness assessment, and transition milestones presented to Acron leadership. Monthly
Backlog Burndown - Reduction of past-due open PO line items against the baseline established in Week 1. ≥ 15% reduction by Month 2; ≥ 40% by Month 4; ≥ 75% by Month 6
On-Time Delivery (OTD) - CCA shipments delivered on or before the committed ship date communicated to Acron. Baseline + 10 pts by Month 3; ≥ 90% by Month 6
Expedite Response Time - Time from Acron's expedite request to Seller's confirmed recovery plan and revised commit date. ≤ 24 business hours
Quality Issue Resolution - Time to issue 8D/containment for in-process or escape defects identified by Acron or end customer. Containment ≤ 48 hours; Root Cause ≤ 10 business days
Line of Balance (LOB) Currency - Daily refresh of LOB and shortage report by 09:00 local Tijuana time. ≥ 98% on-time daily publication
Cycle Count Accuracy - Variance between physical count and system on-hand for designated E&O bins. ≤ 2% absolute variance; 100% of bins counted monthly
Tier 2 Lead Time Improvement - Weighted average quoted lead time for top 20 critical components vs. Week 1 baseline. ≥ 20% reduction by Month 6
Second Source Identification - Qualified alternate sources identified, vetted, and presented to Acron for top critical components. ≥ 5 alternates identified; ≥ 2 sample-qualified by end of term
Risk Register Hygiene - All risks scored, owned, dated, and updated weekly on the shared site. 100% weekly currency; zero stale items > 14 days
Onsite Presence - Resource physically present at supplier site during normal working hours. Approximately 5 days/week (≥ 20 days/month)
