Assists clinical staff in patient examination and treatment by documenting medical records, obtaining vital signs, and performing diagnostic tests. Responsible for administering medications, collecting specimens, and providing patient and caregiver education.
Requires a High School Diploma or GED and completion of an accredited Medical Assistant, EMT, or Paramedic program. Certification from agencies such as AAMA or AMT is desired, along with a valid CPR certification.

M-F, 8am-8pm
Sat/Sun, 8am-4pm
Urgent Care offers shift differentials for all shifts:
$2.00 per hour during regular business hours
$4.00 per hour after 5pm and weekends
Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a compassionate and motivated Medical Assistant to support our providers in delivering exceptional patient care. In this role, you'll work directly with patients, assist with clinical procedures, support care coordination, and help create a positive healthcare experience every day.
EDUCATION: High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of accredited/approved:
If credentialed, maintains current MA Re-Certification CEUs.
MA-Non-Credentialed I: MA eligible to attain Medical Assistant Certification is desired, or EMT with current/active license in the State of Michigan, or Paramedic following successful completion of the National Registry Paramedic Exam and/or holds a current/active license in the State of Michigan. Valid CPR certification.
MA-Credentialed I: Certification as a Medical Assistant through one of the following certifying agencies:
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: 0-1 year previous clinical experience or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred. In absence of completed MA Program/Externship/Internship, must have 2+ years’ clinical experience providing clinical support in community-based clinic and be subject to standardized testing and evaluation of clinical skills.
