The operator will maintain and repair waste water and RO plant equipment while ensuring all activities follow established procedures and specifications. Responsibilities include sampling, analysis, SCADA operation, and managing contractor activities on-site.
Applicants must have experience in waste water treatment processes and hold relevant certifications such as a forklift license, MR license, and confined space ticket. Knowledge of desalination plants or utility plumbing is highly desirable for this remote site operation.

We currently require an experienced Waste Water Treatment & RO Plant Operator to join our team on Rottnest Island for a well known client site.
Reporting to the WA/RO Supervisor , the Waste Water Treatment& RO Plant Operator will work within the utilities team to maintain the Waste Water & RO plant and repair any plant issues that occur.
The suitable applicant is required to use appropriate procedures and specifications and ensure activities are carried out to a satisfactory and timely manner. Specific projects may also be carried out as required.
The Waste Water Treatment plant is a package plant operation that would suit anyone with remote, rural or mine sit experience. It would be highly desirable for the suitable applicant to additionally have an operational knowledge of a desalination plant or utility plumbing experience.
