About the Role
We are seeking a commercially minded Health Economist to join our HEOR and Market Access division within a leading marketing and strategic consultancy serving pharmaceutical and healthcare clients across the MENA region
This role goes beyond traditional academic modelling. You will translate economic evidence into payer-ready value narratives, supporting pricing strategy, reimbursement dossiers, and commercial positioning.
Key Responsibilities
Health Economic Modeling
- Develop and adapt cost-effectiveness, cost-utility, and budget impact models tailored to MENA payer environments
- Customize global models to local epidemiology, resource use, and cost structures
- Conduct scenario analyses supporting pricing negotiations and tender strategies
HTA & Market Access Strategy
- Prepare value dossiers aligned with SFDA, NICE, EUnetHTA and other global frameworks
- Support pricing strategy through economic evidence generation
- Engage in payer advisory simulations and reimbursement scenario planning
Real-World Evidence & Data Analytics
- Analyze clinical trial and real-world datasets
- Translate epidemiological insights into actionable commercial recommendations
- Support publication strategy and value communication materials
Cross-Functional Integration
- Collaborate with commercial, medical, regulatory, and creative teams
- Transform technical outputs into strategic storytelling for client presentations
- Participate in client-facing discussions with pharmaceutical market access teams
Quality & Governance
- Ensure methodological compliance with ISPOR and international best practice
- Maintain reproducibility, version control, and documentation standards
Requirements
• 3–5 years of experience in HEOR, market access, or pharmaceutical consultancy
- Experience adapting global models for regional HTA submissions
- Strong understanding of MENA pricing and reimbursement frameworks (Saudi Arabia, UAE preferred)
- Proficiency in Economic Modeling and practical expertise in Health Economics.
- Strong Analytical Skills to evaluate and interpret complex healthcare data.
- Experience in Health Services Research and the application of related methodologies.
- Knowledge of Statistics, including statistical software and techniques, for data analysis.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and ensure timely delivery with high attention to detail.
- Advanced degree (Master’s or PhD) in Health Economics, Public Health, Healthcare Policy, or a related field (Add-on).
- Experience in GCC markets and healthcare systems is an advantage.
