The Field Service Technician will troubleshoot, maintain, and repair various material handling equipment including forklifts at customer locations. They are responsible for managing work orders, ensuring customer satisfaction, and maintaining accurate service documentation.
Candidates should have at least one year of mechanical experience with diesel, construction, or material handling equipment. A high school diploma or GED is required, and proficiency with mobile technology is necessary for daily operations.

As a Field Service Mechanic with Southern States Material Handling you will be trained, given your own service van and a complete set of tools! Daily you will travel in your territory to customers to maintain and repair propane, diesel and electric powered forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, swing reaches, side loaders, sweepers, plus so much more! The opportunities to grow and expand your knowledge and skill sets are endless!
If you have the skillsets and attitude required, we provide paid training and will certify you to work on our equipment!
