Work alongside experienced mechanics to learn the installation and servicing of residential elevators and wheelchair lifts. Eventually transition to a lead mechanic role, managing installations and interfacing with customers and contractors.
Candidates must be comfortable working at heights, able to lift up to 150 lbs, and possess a valid driver's license. Prior construction or elevator experience is preferred but not required.

Southeast Elevator has immediate openings for an Installation Mechanic Apprentice. The Apprentice position provides great mentoring, training, and hands-on experience with installing and servicing home elevators. Successful Apprentices can be promoted within 12-18 months to a lead mechanic with a commensurate increase in responsibility and compensation during the program as well as after. This isn’t just a job; it’s the start of a long-term, rewarding career.
