The Team Lead oversees a team of loan closing specialists, providing training, coaching, and hands-on guidance to ensure compliance with bank and SBA policies. Additionally, the role involves managing a personal pipeline of loan closings and serving as the primary point of contact for borrowers and legal counsel.
Candidates must have a minimum of 5 years of SBA experience, with at least 3 years specifically in SBA 7a Small Loan Closings. A High School Diploma or GED is required, while a degree in Business or Finance is considered desirable.

The position of Government Guaranteed Lending Loan Closing Team Lead guides a team of loan closing specialists by performing hands-on oversight of their daily work as required. Specifically, the position is responsible training and coaching the closing team members to ensure their loan files are complete, accurate, and compliant with Bank and Guaranteed Loan Program policies and procedures. This Senior Closer role also includes reviewing and providing guidance on decisions with loan closing, updating and maintaining operational procedures and forms. Additionally, the Team Lead is directly responsible for closing their own loans and managing their own pipeline.

Must be able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time. Must be able to effectively access and interpret information on computer screens, documents, reports, and cash denominations, and identify customers. Must be able to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
This position is 100% remote. Candidate must have a secure home office environment that is free from background noise and distractions. They must also have a reliable private internet connection that is not supplied by use of cellular data (hot spot). Cable or fiber connections are preferred. Requirements are subject to change, as new systems and technology are delivered. Travel may be required to come to meetings as needed.
