Monitor contractor activities to ensure compliance with project specifications, codes, and safety regulations during pipeline integrity digs. Oversee excavation, welding, and coating activities while maintaining accurate daily inspection reports and quality documentation.
Requires 2-10 years of experience depending on the specialty, with mandatory API 1169 and API 1184 certifications. Specific certifications such as AMPP/NACE CIP or CSA W178.2 are required for coating and welding inspectors respectively.

SGS is currently looking for Pipeline Inspectors (General, Welding & Coating) in multiple locations in Northern Ontario. Work will be assigned on a as needed basis and will be paid for the hours/days and other applicable cost items for the hours/days spent on the assigned work. The work duration could be a day or several days or several weeks.

SGS is currently seeking 6–8 experienced Pipeline Inspectors to support a large integrity dig program in Northern Ontario.
We are actively recruiting:
Candidates with welding or coating inspection experience are highly preferred; however, experienced pipeline inspectors with strong construction inspection backgrounds are encouraged to apply.
