Administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. Document patient progress and provide age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers.
Requires an Associate degree in Physical Therapy Assistant from a CAPTE-accredited program. Must hold a current Physical Therapist Assistant license and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
As a Physical Therapy Assistant with Sentara, you will administer physical therapy treatments and procedures under the supervision of a physical therapist. May assist in the development of treatment plans, carry out routine functions, and document the progress of treatment within the scope of treatment plans established by a physical therapist.
Provides age-appropriate education for clients and caregivers. Supervise and assume responsibility for care provided by identified team members.
