SEL products and technologies are critical for the safe, reliable operation of power systems around the world, so our products are built with the highest-quality components in SEL facilities by SEL employees. As an Application Engineer in Sales and Customer Service, you will help customers apply SEL protection and control devices, solve application challenges and assist customers from utilities, and industrials background solve problems!
As an Application Engineer, a typical day might include the following:
Helping customers apply SEL products through visits, demonstrations, training courses, emails and telephone contact.
Developing expertise in power systems, metering, protection, and SEL products.
Sharing your knowledge and experience to enhance the quality of our customer support.
Authoring technical papers, application guides, application videos and presentations.
Solving problems, working in and leading technical teams and answering engineering and testing questions.
Supporting achieving our sales goals, our Engineering Services group and our SEL University where needed.
Ensuring yours and the teams safety throughout the day.
