Responsible for programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting complex fire alarm systems to ensure final acceptance by customers and authorities. Coordinates with engineering and sales teams to deliver projects on schedule and within budget while providing technical guidance to other technicians.
Requires a high school diploma and 2-5 years of experience in the fire-life safety industry with the ability to program mid-range systems independently. Must possess knowledge of NFPA and International Fire/Building codes, a valid driver's license, and the physical ability to perform demanding trade work.
Sciens Building Solutions is seeking an experienced Fire Alarm Systems Technician with programming, commissioning, and troubleshooting capabilities and experience. This position will work closely with our sales team, field project teams, and clients to ensure a sound design, and seamless installation and commissioning of our fire alarm solutions. This is a key position for our growing team and requires attention to detail in all aspects of executing projects. Customer and employee interface requires a high degree of effective human relations. Communication skills, both verbal and written, are important elements of the position.
