They lead process improvement initiatives, facilitate cross-functional collaboration, and monitor key performance indicators to drive sustainable change.
Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field and possess at least two years of experience in manufacturing or operations. Proficiency in Lean methodologies, Six Sigma, and process improvement tools is required for this role.
Description
The Continuous Improvement Engineer is responsible for identifying, developing, and implementing strategies to enhance operational efficiency, reduce waste, and improve quality across the organization. This role leverages Lean, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies to drive sustainable change and foster a culture of continuous improvement.
While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
Must adhere to all safety rules in force for the location you are in while performing your job responsibilities. This includes at a customer or supplier location. Must meet requirements for PPE in specific manufacturing areas when you are in those areas including safety shoes and safety glasses.
