The Legal Counsel will lead all legal matters for the Italian branch, including customer documentation and the launch of new credit products. They will act as the primary liaison with Banca d'Italia and manage regulatory reports and customer disputes.
Candidates must hold a law degree and possess substantial experience in a top-tier law firm or fintech sector with deep knowledge of Italian and European financial regulations. Full professional fluency in both Italian and English is required.

Scalable Capital is one of Europe's leading digital banks, with more than one million clients and over €50 billion on the platform, growing across Munich, Berlin, Vienna, Milan and London. We are hiring a Legal Counsel to own the legal side of our Italian branch.
You would be the reference point for legal matters in Italy: owning customer documentation, leading the legal work on new product launches such as credit and credit cards, and acting as a primary contact with Banca d'Italia and external counsel. You would work directly with the Branch Managers and the established group legal team in Germany.
Typically, we offer individuals with limited experience an annual salary between 50,000 EUR and 70,000 EUR. For a candidate that we assess as possessing considerable relevant experience, the salary on offer tends to be between 77,000 EUR and 99,000 EUR. The final salary will be determined within this range based on your individual training, qualifications, and relevant professional experience.
