The Quality Assurance Inspector is responsible for inspecting inbound produce loads to ensure they meet company and USDA standards. They must also monitor storage conditions, maintain accurate defect reports, and communicate findings to procurement and retail teams.
Candidates must have at least 2 years of grocery or produce handling experience and the ability to perform physical tasks like lifting up to 85 pounds. Proficiency in inventory tracking systems, basic math, and the ability to work in extreme temperature environments are required.

Purpose
Quality Assurance Inspectors (QAI) are responsible for ensuring quality produce is received in accordance to our company’s standards and USDA guidelines. This position will work closely with the DC management, procurement & retail operations teams to make decisions that will build confidence in our quality assurance program. QAIs must be highly motivated for a fast paced, high pressure, work environment.
