The driver is responsible for transporting goods from the distribution center to customers throughout the Southeast region. Key duties include performing safety inspections, maintaining vehicle records, and ensuring timely freight delivery.
Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED and a valid CDL license. A minimum of two years of CDL driving experience with a clean MVR and no accidents is required.

Summary: This position is responsible for providing quality service to customers and for ensuring the completion of tasks to ensure the success of our freight operations. The CDL Company Driver will transport goods from our distribution center to customers throughout the Southeast region.
Company Driver Job Responsibilities:
Required Skills/Abilities:
High school diploma or GED
CDL license
Two years of experience working as a CDL driver with no legal or safety incidents on record
Excellent time management skills.
Ability to work with little supervision
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or equivalent is required
Minimum 2 years' experience required
Clean MVR, no accidents
All offers are contingent upon criminal background check and drug screen.

SLG has leasing company that provides CDL drivers with a path to ownership through our Big Rig Leasing Program. SLG also has its own Big Rig Truck Repair shop that handles maintenance and repair work for our 70 truck fleet at discounted labor and parts rates. SLG has a Drayage Division that handles all of our container business. We also have 160,000 square feet of warehouse space in the Pooler Distribution Complex. At that facility we provide transloading and lumper services to compliment our storage capacity. SLG also provides over the road freight delivery through our Dry Van division. With over 40 employees and 65 Contract drivers we are growing and lookiing to add Company Drivers with competive pay and benefits.
