The Resident Assistant provides direct care to residents, including medication administration, assistance with activities of daily living, and mobility support. They are also responsible for maintaining a clean environment, preparing meals, and monitoring resident health status.
A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, and candidates must complete a state-approved medication administration training program. The role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting and repositioning residents in accordance with safety guidelines.
