The Occupational Therapist assesses patients to design and implement treatments that help them recover functional, cognitive, and behavioral abilities. They establish therapeutic plans, provide patient education, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to improve functional outcomes.
Candidates must have the appropriate education for state licensure and a valid Occupational Therapist license in the state of practice. BLS certification is required, and NBCOT certification is preferred for Sanford Health facilities.
