Safely operate and control the chemical plant both from the control panel and on-site. Perform control rounds, handle raw materials, and participate in production optimization and improvement projects.
Requires a Process Operator B or C qualification with a desire to grow toward higher professional or management levels. Must possess strong analytical skills, good physical condition, and proficiency in Dutch and English.

SABIC maakt op de locatie Bergen op Zoom kunststofkorrels en -platen. Die worden door onze klanten verwerkt tot eindproducten. Producten in uiteenlopende toepassingen: van autobumpers tot injectiespuiten, van speelgoed tot verpakkingsmaterialen, van telefoononderdelen tot ruimtevaarthelmen, van stadiondaken tot pijpleidingen. Iedere dag kom je materialen van SABIC tegen.
We zoeken zowel startende als ervaren procesoperators voor onze chemische fabrieken BPA, Resin en Fosgeen, waar de grondstoffen voor de kunststofkorrels worden gemaakt. Je gaat werken in het hart van ons productieproces. Binnen onze organisatie is er volop ruimte voor eigen ontwikkeling en doorgroei, dit alles gebaseerd op jouw kennis, kunde en competenties. Samen met je ploeg zorg je ervoor dat je de fabriek op een veilige manier bestuurt en bedrijft. Je werkt als procesoperator zowel binnen (achter besturingspaneel) als buiten. De buitenoperator loopt controlerondes en helpt bij het laden en lossen van grondstoffen. Daarnaast help je bij het opleveren van leidingen en andere apparatuur, zodat collega’s het juiste onderhoud aan de fabrieken kunnen plegen. Bij meldingen van procesafwijkingen ben je verantwoordelijk voor het nemen van de eerste acties en grijp je in indien nodig. Je zorgt er als ploeg voor dat onderbrekingen in de productie worden voorkomen of beperkt blijven.
Je bent een teamspeler en zorgt voor een volledige overdracht van informatie over productie en product bij ploegwisselingen, zodat collega’s en het management over de noodzakelijke informatie beschikken. Je doet actief mee aan overlegsituaties en voorziet collega’s van informatie. Je neemt deel aan verbeterprojecten voor de optimalisatie van het productieproces. Om onze personeelsplanning aan te vullen zijn wij vooral op zoek naar operators die het potentieel hebben om door te groeien naar leidinggevende, coördinerende en expert functies.
