We're putting together a talented team to build the #1 training platform for Runners
We help everyday runners become outstanding by building an incredible app providing world-class training, coaching and community for everyone, whether you're improving your 5k time or training for your first marathon.
We’re growing extremely fast! In November 2023 we closed a $6.5M funding round led by JamJar with participation from Eka Ventures, Venrex and Creator Ventures. In 2024, we were selected by Apple as one of three global finalists for the iPhone app of the year, reflecting the innovation and impact of what we’ve built & in 2025 we were acquired by Strava!
Our ambition is huge: to become the go-to global leading training platform for millions of runners everywhere. We’re growing with purpose and looking for people who want to build something meaningful with lasting impact. With the recent acquisition by Strava accelerating our journey, now is a really magical time to join. 🚀
About This Role
We're looking for a Social Production Associate to be the operational backbone of Runna's US social content program. This is a back-of-house production and coordination role, you'll be the person who keeps the calendar running, the shoots on track, and the assets moving from brief to handoff. You won't be expected to be on camera; our ambassador community handles creator-facing content, and you'll be the one making sure everything behind the scenes runs smoothly.
This role is based in our New York City office, working a minimum of 3 days per week on-site.
The Team You'll Join
You'll join a small, growing US social team working in close partnership with Runna's UK social and brand teams. Social is one of Runna's primary growth channels, it's how we reach new runners, build community trust, and show the world what the app can do. The team moves fast, takes the work seriously, and genuinely cares about making content that lands.
What You'll Do
Own the day-to-day management of Runna's US social editorial calendar, keeping it accurate, sequenced, and visible to all stakeholders
Coordinate end-to-end production for US social content. From shoot brief through logistics to creative handoff, with full accountability for on-time, on-brief delivery
Write clear, detailed shoot briefs that give the creative team direction and reduce unnecessary back-and-forth
Manage talent scheduling and day-of production logistics independently, including capturing real-time content at events
Coordinate asset delivery between creative, brand, and publishing teams to ensure content is ready on spec
Keep social assets organised across Google Drive, AIR, and Dash Social, and support tagging and reporting workflows
Work closely with the UK social team to keep US and global content aligned
Own regular performance reporting for US social channels (pulling data in Dash Social, tracking key metrics, and translating what the numbers are telling us into content decisions)
Flag when content isn't working and bring alternatives, you're not just executing, you're thinking
What You'll Bring to the Team
Experience coordinating content shoots or productions from brief to delivery — you know what can go wrong and how to prevent it
Genuine platform fluency on Instagram and TikTok, you understand what performs and why, not just how to post
Strong organisational instincts. You build the tracker before anyone asks and manage asset delivery without being chased
Clear, reliable communication across teams. You keep stakeholders updated and know how to move projects forward without unnecessary escalation
Confidence with social analytics. You can pull a report, read what it's telling you, and connect performance data to content decisions
Familiarity with tools including Asana, Dash Social, AIR, Google Drive, and Figma is a plus
Experience working with ambassador or influencer talent is a plus
