Office Generalist

Location: Cumming, GA

Pay: $24/hr

Position Summary
The Office Generalist supports the daily administrative and operational functions of RMR 
Mechanical. This role assists with office coordination between management, field employees, 
vendors, and clients while helping maintain efficient business operations. The ideal candidate is 
organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Answer and direct incoming calls and correspondence
• Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
• Assist with reports, spreadsheets, and internal documentation
• Provide general administrative support to management
• Assist with onboarding documentation (I-9s, W-4s, new hire paperwork)
• Maintain personnel files and track employee certifications and documentation
• Support benefits enrollment and employee communications
• Assist with invoice entry and vendor documentation
• Support timecard collection and payroll preparation
• Maintain accurate data entry within company systems
• Communicate with vendors regarding documentation as needed
• Assist with job file setup and document tracking
• Support scheduling coordination between office and field teams
• Order and maintain office supplies
• Assist with travel and per diem documentation when applicable

General Responsibilities
• Maintain a clean and professional office environment
• Handle confidential company and employee information appropriately
• Perform additional administrative duties as assigned

Qualifications
• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred
• 2+ years of administrative or office experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Strong organizational, communication, and time management skills
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy

Work Environment & Physical Requirements
Professional office environment; routine computer and phone use; occasional travel requirements 
as needed
