The Home Care Assistant provides personal and practical care to clients in accordance with individual care plans. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living activities, supporting client independence, and maintaining a safe and respectful environment.
Applicants must hold a minimum of two QQI Level 5 modules in Care Skills and Care of the Older Person, along with a valid Patient Moving & Handling certificate. A full driving licence and access to own transport are desirable for this community-based role.
