Coordinator, Account Services

Location: Alexandria, VA
Title: Coordinator, Account Services
Reports to: Senior Manager, Account Services
Classification: Exempt

Why You’ll Love Working at RedPeg:

Voted as one of The Washington Post’s Top Workplaces, we are an independent full service experiential marketing agency that connects brands to the consumers they need to reach through customized, personal engagement. Every day, we come together to create experiences that inspire extraordinary memories. With our main office in Washington D.C., we work with a roster of incredible brands including Capital One, In&Out, Marriott, Meta, Niantic, Nike, Santander Bank and Virginia Lottery. We’re looking for highly personable, passionate, and innovative marketers to join our team!

Why RedPegsters Are Comfortable Being Their True Self:

RedPeg is dedicated to fostering an inclusive workplace where employees of all backgrounds can contribute and thrive. The company's policies and culture prioritize diversity at all levels and ensure fair treatment based on merit and potential rather than protected classifications factors (such as age, race, gender, religion). This deliberate and intentional effort is highlighted and supported, with continual accountability placed on appropriate parties to ensure forward momentum by the RedPeg Employee Resource Groups (ERGs), specifically EquALLY (LGBTQI+ Community and Allies), Parents of RedPeg,  ROC (RedPegsters of Color), and WOR (Women of RedPeg). Our ERGs are the backbone of our culture at RedPeg. They help us educate, celebrate, and facilitate meaningful action throughout our organization and in our local communities.

What This Job is About:
RedPeg Marketing is seeking a dynamic Account Coordinator with events management experience to support the day-to-day execution of client programs across large-scale experiential campaigns (e.g., mobile tours, product launches, sampling, digital/social amplification, and interactive technology). You’ll collaborate closely with Client Service leadership and cross-functional teammates (Production, Talent, Venues & Sponsorship) to coordinate the development and flawless execution of all campaign elements.
  • Coordinate internal and external meetings: build and send agendas in advance, capture notes, and distribute clear action items and owners post-meeting.
  • Track task and milestone completion across programs; support timeline management, Run of Show (ROS) creation/updates, project documentation, and asset trackers.
  • Partner with Account Manager/Director and cross-functional teams to build and launch experiential programs; surface risks early, propose solutions, and manage up as needed.
  • Support program close-out with organized wrap materials, learnings, and asset archives.
  • Process expenses for vendors, field staff, and other budget elements with appropriate approvals; maintain working knowledge of budget templates, job codes, and time/hour management.
  • Help monitor costs versus plan and contribute to profitability through accurate processing, vendor diligence, and cost-saving recommendations; support Budget vs. Actuals (BvAs) creation as directed.
  • Support day-to-day communications with external and internal stakeholders; draft recaps, confirm next steps, and keep teams aligned; handle select 1:1 client interactions professionally.
  • Oversee onboarding and scheduling communications for Field Managers and Brand Ambassadors; manage pre-event details for internal teams, client stakeholders, and field staff.
  • Serve as a point-of-contact for interns on your program; assist with training resources and tasking.
  • Jump in on light business-development support when requested (case studies, credential pulls, research) while primarily focusing on execution excellence.
  • Model process discipline and compliance with internal workflows, tools, and documentation standards; flag gaps and suggest practical, scalable improvements.
  • Travel as required for site checks, planning, and live execution; maintain calm, organized onsite delivery.
  • Contribute ideas, suggestions, and opportunities that support agency innovation and evolution.

What You’re All About:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration or other related field
  • 1+ years of relevant marketing, event, promotions, communications or sponsorship experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to handle communication with clients in senior level positions
  • General computer skills and proficiency with Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Superior attention to detail, organization and time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines at once
  • Ability to travel to be on-site at client activations as needed
  • Hunger to learn and roll up your sleeves
  • Willingness to contribute ideas, suggestions and opportunities for the agency’s continued innovation and evolution
