At Red our IT Support services have evolved dramatically over the past couple of years . As we grow, the IT support challenge will be to evolve the capabilities of our infrastructure whilst still maintaining security and control day-to-day.
Reporting to the Head of IT, Information Security and Compliance, you will undertake a hands-on role requiring the ability to provide IT support and IT project delivery activities. You will be located in Wroclaw, Poland, and you will need to be present at the office at least 4 days a week.
Aside from the day-to-day support issues, you’ll also get chance to work on some big, exciting IT and security projects seeing your ideas roll out into the business and playing an active part in Red’s evolution as a leading provider of technology-driven consultancy services.
Responsibilities:
- Helping set up infrastructure for the new office from scratch
- Providing day-to-day user support for the office staff
- Identifying, analyzing, and repairing product failures
- Order and replacement of parts
- Working through tickets in the IT Service Desk – ensure tickets are allocated and picked up within SLA’s
- Delivering infrastructure projects which include managing subcontractors, installation and set-up of server and network infrastructure (enterprise switches & gateways)
- Performing root cause analysis and identifying opportunities for efficiencies.
Required skills/experience:
- Knowledge of Linux Server, preferably (Ubuntu,) installation, administration and support
- Knowledge of Windows-based environments (Windows 11, Windows Server 2019) installation, administration and support
- Knowledge of the following infrastructure: Microsoft Exchange 365, Microsoft Office 365, Windows Servers 2019
- Knowledge of network infrastructure and configuration – Cisco, IPsec, OpenVPN, VPN (Virtual Private Networks), WiFi
- 3rd line support experience
- Ability to prioritise effectively
- Fluent in English and Polish
- Positive, human-oriented attitude especially with new users
- Broad understanding of a wide range of technologies including tools such as EDR, XDR, vulnerability scanners, patch management, log monitoring, DNS filtering and SIEM systems
- Knowledge of IAM/PAM/privileged password management especially in relation to MS Active Directory & 365 user permissions.
Nice to have:
- Experience in open source technologies
- Good knowledge of server virtualisation and storage systems
- A good problem solver able to analyse data and objectives and provide a systematic solution.
- Experience with analysing, processing and presenting data
- Experience with Microsoft365 security centre inc. Endpoint, vulnrebility, BYOD, phishing/spam & Threat Management
- Experience with Colonical Landscape, ADsys and ADgroup policies
- Knowledge on automated vulnerability and intrusion protection solutions such as Teneble, cloudstrike, darktrace, AC-hunter
- Experience working within a similar cyber and Infosec engineering function Conversant with key security principles outlined in ISO27001 and Cyber Essentials plus with a flexibility to continually develop skills as security principles evolve
- Working knowledge of IDS, IPS, network segregation and network access control.
This is a role for a pro-active person with previous experience of Linux, Windows and Network administration and support. Ideally, you would have previous experience of working in small to mid-sized companies in a dynamic, technical environment.
