Requirements
Previous experience as a kitchen steward in a 4-5 star hotel or similar environment is preferred. Candidates must be able to perform heavy lifting and repetitive manual tasks while maintaining a positive attitude.

About the Opportunity
Are you a people person and enjoy working in a professional fast paced kitchen and team environment? An exciting opportunity has become available for an energetic Kitchen Steward, to join our large kitchen team.
This could be just the right role for you?
Reporting to the Chief Steward, you will clock up your step count and actively move through the resort, working in the large main production kitchen, multiple outlet kitchens and large conference & event space. Your responsibilities will be to:
Ensure the kitchen, food preparation & scullery areas are a clean and hygienic work environment
Deep clean kitchens & perform duties to a high standard
Royal Pines is open 24 hours per day, 7 days week. Our team work a 7 day rotating roster on various shifts, between 5am - 2am, including evenings, weekends & public holidays. Full availability & flexibility is ideal, including afternoon-late evenings, for when we cater to large groups of guests in conferences and events.
What you'll need to be successful
Previous kitchen steward/cleaning experience in a 4-5 star hotel/resort or similar environment
Experience using a commercial dishwasher , general knowledge of catering equipment, cleaning and hygienic kitchen procedures, desirable
Clear communication skills, friendly positive attitude with a willingness to learn
Can follow instructions, work well in a team environment or autonomously
Good organisational, time management skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
