The Certified Health Care Aide provides personal care, hygiene assistance, and companionship to clients under the supervision of a Care Coordinator. Responsibilities also include meal preparation, light housekeeping, and assisting with medication and ambulation.
Candidates must hold a Health Care Aide Certificate or an equivalent qualification, such as being a nursing student or foreign-trained nurse. Current CPR/First Aid training is required or must be obtained, along with the ability to travel within the location territory.
