Responsible for programming and operating CMM equipment to perform detailed inspections of molded parts and components. The role also involves managing calibration, driving PPAP submissions, and mentoring the metrology lab team.
Requires a minimum of 6 years of experience in metrology or quality inspection with strong proficiency in PC-DMIS or equivalent CMM software. Candidates must have a solid command of GD&T and the ability to interpret engineering drawings.
PTI Engineered Plastics is seeking a skilled and motivated Metrology CMM Programmer to join our busy Metrology department. This role is responsible for programming and operating CMM equipment, performing detailed inspections, and testing molded parts and components to ensure compliance with engineering specifications and quality standards. Administrator for Calibration /To assist with part layout and inspection / documentation in all phases of Metrology Lab Activities.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 6 years of experience in metrology or quality inspection, strong proficiency in CMM programming and measurement techniques, and a solid understanding of GD&T. This individual will play a key role in maintaining product quality, supporting production, and mentoring team members in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
