The Principal HR Technology Consultant acts as a strategic partner to business functions, translating complex business challenges into scalable Workday technology and process solutions. This role involves leading stakeholder meetings, optimizing system functionality, and managing the end-to-end delivery of enhancements and integrations.
Candidates must have 5+ years of experience supporting Workday across multiple modules with a strong background in HR business processes. PTC is seeking a Principal HR Technology Consultant to serve as a strategic partner to our various business functions and departments. This role sits at the intersection of technology, process design, and stakeholder consulting, helping ensure our Workday ecosystem supports scalable, efficient, and compliant People processes.
This is not a traditional HRIS administration role. We're looking for someone who can blend strong Workday functional expertise with business consulting and stakeholder partnership. The ideal candidate understands how to evaluate requests through both a technical and organizational lens, balancing system capabilities, user experience, process impact, and long-term sustainability.
The person who thrives in this role:
PTC carefully considers a wide variety of factors when determining compensation. The anticipated annual salary range for this position is between $115,000-$140,000. The salary range reflects a good-faith estimate of compensation at the time of posting. Actual compensation may vary based on a candidate's skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Additionally, candidates may be eligible for a performance-based bonus. Employees also have the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program (ESPP), which allows for the purchase of discounted PTC stock. Certain roles may also be eligible for participation in our equity programs. Employees may be eligible for medical, dental and vision insurance, paid time off and sick leave, tuition reimbursement, 401(k) contributions and employer match, flexible spending accounts, life insurance, disability coverage and, if you are an office-assigned employee, a generous commuter subsidy.
